Hari ini macam terpijak dulang emas. Langkah kanan sungguh. Our GM ajak datang kafe dia untuk food testing. Orang ajak makan free. Sape tanak kan? Gila teruja. Hahahah. Asyik makan ke. Memang tak kurus2 lah jawabnya ni.
Anyway, nama kedai ni Griffiths Coffee. Terletak di PJ state, landmark dia betul-betul depan pintu lobi bangunan MBPJ.

This is how the cafe looks like from inside.

Sangat sesuai kalau mahu buat gathering, majlis keramaian, birthday party, etc.
I’m not a coffee drinker. But since belum ada air lain, jadi aku order je latte. Not bad. Not too strong. The coffee is fresh. Ah tak reti nak cakap pasal pembuatan coffee. But you know how it goes.

Tadi ada pepperoni pizza jugak. Tak sempat nak tangkap. Semua dah capai dulu. Dasar kelaparan! Hahaha.
And we end our meal with dessert.. Ready?
Ta-dahhh!!

Price wise, macam pasta around RM12 and below, pizza around RM14, drinks around RM8.. But then again I might be wrong. it’s around that price. yang pasti under RM15 for each dishes. Oklah price kira reasonable sebab kalau pergi delicious, the price macam tu jugak.
They also serve breakfast and other type of food such as chicken pie.
Ada promotion masa pembukaan nanti for a month. BOGOF = Buy one and get another one free.
So far ini sahaja info yang aku dapat. Aku suggest korang datanglah try if you want to eat good quality food with reasonable price. and comfortable place.
Oh, not to forget, it’s halal.

thank you for dropping by here
Hi Landaklaut
I went to check out this place you mentioned as I needed to go to the PJ Maybank and it was just around the corner.
It looked rather interesting indeed as I had wanted to check out their coffees. And so I walked in and the waitress smiled and said hello. It was a rather warm day and so I entered into the air-conditioned section further in the shop.
Sadly, as I was about to sit down, I was told that I could not sit there because the table was “reserved” and was asked to sit outside.
And so I politely smiled and just walked out.
It would be understandable if it was a busy lunchtime, and I a single person wanted to sit down at this table that seats 4.
But the thing is it was 11.30 am and there was no one else in the store except another staff member. It was empty! I would have been the only customer. And also, there was no sign on the table that said “reserved”, or was there any sign that there was any “private function” happening.
To me, the waitress who was very polite was just doing her job and I hold no bad feelings towards her. This is clearly one of those really stupid Malaysian management policy that one unfortunately comes across here from time to time.
The management should take a hard look next door at their well patronized neighbors Papa Rich Kopitiam and see how well their “unreserved tables” policy works.
This reminds me of the time there was this private multilevel bookstore that opened in Bangsar opposite Ronnie Q’s. This friend of mine, a tv and radio personality is quite a literature buff. So we both went there to check it out and have a look at the books. We were told that we could not enter because entrance was by “private invitation only”. Well poetic justice was served. Within the year…the place “bungkus”.
I wish Griffiths all the success in their business. But I certainly won’t be going back there.
Hello Mark,
Sorry to hear about that. Hopefully the management will take note on this matter and will try to serve their customers better in the future.
Hi
Yeah… I hope so too Landaklaut that Griffiths treat their walk in customers better.
It’s nice that there are all these little specialty coffee shops that are coming up in the Klang Valley.
But it’s sad to see that quite a few of them end up closing down too:(
There was this African specialty coffee shop that was in Sunway Giza that sadly “bungkusded” recently
Anyways Landaklaut, keep up the good work with your blog. I had doubts that you would publish my comments. But I’m thrilled you have proven me wrong!
I thus respect your integrity, something I can’t say about some other food bloggers here… So you keep doing what your doing just the way your doing it!
Mark
